Testing the New TaylorMade RocketBallz High Launch
April 27th, 2012 by The Golf InsomniacToday I did a test run on the Foresight Sports Simulator with my present driver, the Taylormade Super Fast 2.0 TP 10.5 loft w/ Aldila RIP Alpha Shaft as well as the new Taylormade Rocketballz High Launch with the Matrix OZIK XCON 7 shaft. The results might surprise you. My swing speed is just over 102 mph and my launch angle on the TM SF 2.0 was at 11.9 which is on the low side. Carry was 248 yards and with my slight draw final distance was 265-270. I hit a pretty straight ball, but with 10 drives 2 were out of the fairway and in the rough. Some Updated Song Names Now That Justin Timberlake is Callaway Golf’s Creative Director
December 16th, 2011 by KyleJustin Timberlake has officially been hired as Callaway Golf’s new Creative Director. Add that to his resume, one that includes: Mickey Mouse Club Member, Boy Band Leader, Adult Pop Musician, Actor, Record Label Owner, Fashion Label Founder, Restaurant Opener, Saturday Night Live Host, and Golf Course Owner. The guy has done a lot of stuff. We’re (maybe) interested in this new life adventure he’s about to start, because it concerns our world, the world of golf and golf equipment. It will be curious to see what kind of design and creative choices Callaway starts to make now, or if there will be any noticeable difference at all.
